How it All Started

Harvest Your Data has been revolutionizing mobile data collection for more than 15 years! The company was started in 2009 by Stephen Cohn - LinkedIn, an entrepreneur and software professional with more than 30 years of experience in the software industry.

The first version of the iSURVEY app was built for the iPod Touch and was available in the App store in the days when the iPad was just a rumour… Soon after, droidSURVEY, the Android version of the app, was released for mobile and tablet devices.

Over the years both apps have been constantly improved with frequent releases. droidSURVEY has proven the most popular worldwide with over 450 reviews and a 4.8 star rating!

The Harvest Your Data apps and website have been designed from the ground up to work offline and to sync data over the Internet when it is convenient for the user, as well as being able to work seamlessly online when there is an internet connection.

The apps have been crafted by a team of developers, testers and technical architects who have made the best and most reliable professional mobile survey product in the market.

Harvest Your Data is used in over 60 countries with customers including NGOs, airlines, airports, universities, museums, healthcare providers, hotels, political researchers, market research professionals and more.

Harvest Your Data is based in Wellington, New Zealand. Your data is hosted in an AWS (Amazon Web Services) data center and is backed up to a secure offsite storage facility.

NOTE: we can provide a service to enterprise customers which allows data captured to be uploaded directly from the mobile devices to the company servers without going to the Harvest Your Data Cloud servers. Contact us for more information about hosting data within a corporate database.
